Senior Full Stack Developer (Backend heavy (Java + Spring Boot)) We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Full Stack Developer with a strong backend focus to build and scale robust marine software systems. The role emphasizes Java, Spring Boot, messaging systems, databases, and cloud architecture, while collaborating closely with frontend teams. Key Responsibilities Design and develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot Build scalable and secure REST APIs and asynchronous systems Implement and manage messaging systems using RabbitMQ Design, optimize, and maintain PostgreSQL databases Work with high-volume and time-series data Deploy services using Docker and CI/CD pipelines Ensure observability, monitoring, and system reliability Collaborate with frontend teams and review UI integrations Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience 10+ years of backend development experience Enterprise-level experience with Java/Spring Boot Experience working on Windows and Linux Required Technical Skills Strong hands-on experience in Java (17+) & Spring Boot REST APIs, async messaging, and event-driven architectures Hands-on experience with RabbitMQ Strong PostgreSQL skills (schema design, indexing, tuning) Experience with time-series databases (TimescaleDB or similar) Cloud platforms: AWS and/or GCP Docker and containerized deployments CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) Understanding of frontend tech (React/TypeScript) Nice to Have Protocol Buffers (Protobuf) Offline or air-gapped deployments API contract testing experience Behavioral Skills Strong debugging and problem-solving ability Architecture and system-thinking mindset Excellent communication skills Collaborative and quality-driven approach Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills : Role Focus: Backend heavy (Java + Spring Boot) Must-Have Skills: Java 17+ Spring Boot (REST, Security, Data JPA) RabbitMQ (queues, routing, DLQs) PostgreSQL (incl. time-series data) Experience Range: 10+ years backend development Cloud & DevOps: AWS/GCP, Docker, CI/CD Observability: Prometheus/Grafana Frontend Expectation: React/TypeScript awareness (not core focus) Good Fit If Candidate Has: Built scalable backend systems Worked with async messaging Strong debugging & architecture skills Key Skills : Javascript Java .
