About the role
As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for: - Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications using Node.js and TypeScript. - Building and enhancing microservices-based architectures for high availability and performance. - Developing and maintaining RESTful APIs and service integrations. - Implementing secure authentication and authorization mechanisms. - Optimizing application performance, scalability, and reliability. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Writing clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices. - Participating in code reviews and mentoring junior developers. - Troubleshooting production issues and implementing preventive measures. - Contributing to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation. Qualifications required for this position are: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - 4+ years of backend development experience. - Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript. - Hands-on experience designing and implementing Microservices Architecture. - Experience building RESTful APIs and backend services. - Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture. - Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB. - Knowledge of message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS. - Experience with Docker and containerized deployments. - Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows. - Understanding of software design patterns and clean architecture principles.
