About the role
Analysis of automotive technologies [ conventional components (powertrain controls, body electrical, controller architecture & connected-telematics -v2x /safety/comfort convenience, design philosophy of competitor s vehicle in customer s perspective] Study and analysis of functions, architecture & integration with other electrical and electronics systems Design/cost/ weight analysis and performance evaluation of new technologies, analysis summary reporting & support to engineering team. Sharing & release of benchmarking sheets & analysis summary reports. Analysis of benchmarking ideas for implementation in MSIL models Study of upcoming technology through Benchmarking activities & work along with ENGG team Root cause analysis skills & countermeasures of design/quality issues. Competency Requirements Experience of design / development/testing in at-least one domain area in any of the following: Engine electrical, body electrical, controllers, connected technologies [telematics], ADAS systems [advance driving assist systems], comfort & convenience technologies [wireless charging/wireless android auto] Knowledge of vehicle electrical & electronics system basic functions & integration Evaluation of the technology on the vehicle. Understanding of hardware /controllers/sensors used in the technologies. Understanding of performance, safety, regulatory requirements & testing procedures of technologies systems/subsystems. Understanding of engineering materials & manufacturing processes, tooling & cost estimation etc. Understandings and hands on experience of market issues Background Educational B.E/B.Tech Graduation/PG in Electrical /Electronics & communication Engineering
