About the role
As a Data Analyst at Media.Net, you will be working at the intersection of business, analytics, and machine learning to drive strategic decisions that directly impact company revenue and profitability. Role Overview: You will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing business, customer, and system performance metrics across the advertising ecosystem. Your main tasks will involve analyzing large-scale datasets, evaluating A/B test performance, validating revenue reporting, supporting financial analysis, connecting data across multiple teams, investigating business queries, and contributing to the design of scalable data solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor and analyze business, customer, and system performance metrics across the advertising ecosystem. - Develop and manage reporting frameworks to provide actionable insights to stakeholders and leadership teams. - Analyze large-scale datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and inefficiencies within the Bidder and Ad Learning funnels. - Evaluate A/B test performance and provide data-driven recommendations for model outcomes and revenue generation. - Validate revenue reporting accuracy and reliability across multiple systems. - Support the development and maintenance of Profit & Loss reporting frameworks and business financial analysis. - Connect data across multiple teams and systems to support strategic decision-making. - Investigate business queries related to data trends, user behavior, event timing, and system performance. - Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to provide analytical solutions for business challenges. - Ensure data integrity, governance, normalization, and quality across reporting systems. - Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable data solutions for organizational growth. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline. - 23 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related field. - Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis and automation. - Experience with AI-powered tools such as Claude AI for analytics workflows. - Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PySpark or Spark query writing. - Strong foundation in Statistics, Experimental Design, and A/B testing frameworks. - Exposure to AdTech, Digital Advertising, Internet, or Data-driven technology businesses. - Experience in data governance, reporting systems, and dashboard development.
