A Day in the Life As an IT MA&D Infrastructure Business Analyst in Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestitures (MA&D), your primary role is to support teams and stakeholders in delivering successful infrastructure integration initiatives within a complex and evolving business environment. This role assists the Infrastructure Integration Lead by supporting infrastructure-related analysis and coordination activities, including business analysis, options analysis, tracking progress against timelines, and stakeholder communications. The role plays a key part in supporting the planning and execution of technology and infrastructure-related activities during a merger, acquisition, or divestiture. The focus is on ensuring a smooth infrastructure transition and contributing to outcomes such as seamless system integration, improved operational efficiency, and overall effectiveness. Success in this role requires strong coordination and communication across cross-functional teams, including collaboration with project managers, business stakeholders, IT infrastructure teams, and external partners, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: Support planning and execution of IT infrastructure integration during M&A and divestiture initiativesDevelop and maintain infrastructure integration plans covering networks, hosting, cloud, security, and data migrationEnsure alignment with business and program strategyConduct infrastructure-focused IT due diligence across networks, cloud, hosting, and end-user environmentsIdentify risks, synergies, costs, and integration challengesEvaluate infrastructure readiness and compatibilityPartner with infrastructure teams, business stakeholders, program managers, and external vendorsFacilitate collaboration between infrastructure, application, and business teamsCoordinate with deal and contract management teamsSupport delivery of integration programs with measurable business outcomesCoordinate activities across infrastructure and application landscapesEnsure readiness for enterprise platforms such as SAP, Workday, SalesforceTrack progress using JIRA, Smartsheet, Excel, and MS ProjectMaintain dashboards, status reports, and documentation (Confluence)Manage risks, dependencies, timelines, and budgetsProvide regular updates to stakeholders and leadershipCoordinate infrastructure-related testing activities including environment readiness and connectivity validationSupport access provisioning and UAT coordinationIdentify and resolve integration and infrastructure issuesAssist in cutover planning and go-live executionEnsure infrastructure readiness and stability during transitionsSupport change management and user enablementGather and document infrastructure-related requirementsPerform business and options analysis to support decisionsPrepare executive-level communications, reports, and updates Required Knowledge and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field712 years of experience in Business Analysis, IT infrastructure, or M&A project coordination3+ years of project/program management experienceStrong understanding of infrastructure concepts (networks, cloud, hosting, security)Experience with project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet, Excel)Strong documentation, analytical, and communication skillsUnderstanding of application lifecycle and system integration conceptsAbility to work in fast-paced, cross-functional environments Nice to Haves:Experience with ERP systems such as SAP (S/4HANA, ECC)Exposure to enterprise platforms like Workday, Salesforce, ServiceNowFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologiesUnderstanding of integration technologies (APIs, middleware, ETL tools)Experience in regulated industries (medical devices, life sciences)Knowledge of business processes (O2C, P2P, R2R, H2R)Experience with data migration and application integration strategiesStrong leadership, stakeholder management, and influencing skills Physical Job Requirements The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.
