About the role
As a Project Manager at Medtronic within the SAP Center of Excellence organization, you will be responsible for leading multiple projects involving application development, systems integration, operational efficiency improvements, process reengineering, and application upgrades. Your role will involve developing project estimates, work plans, schedules, and resource plans. You will be accountable for directing the analysis and solutions of problems and communicating project status while managing scope, schedule, and budget constraints effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and direct project teams engaged in global initiatives across functional and regional organizations. - Develop and manage all facets of projects from intake through implementation and closure. - Ensure successful implementation of project outcomes through effective organization and leadership, business case management, stakeholder management, risk management, change management, and quality management. - Adhere to Corporate and IT policies and standards. - Manage project constraints of scope, cost, and schedule effectively. - Provide technical and analytical guidance to leadership governance bodies. - Define program/project scope, objectives, estimates, work plans, schedules, and resource plans. - Facilitate executive level steering committee discussions. - Ensure end results meet business and stakeholder benefit expectations. - Monitor and control project financial metrics. - Institutionalize development life cycle processes and methodologies. - Provide analytical guidance to project team for issue and risk resolutions. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, MCA, MSc, or MBA with 7+ years of IT experience. - Experience managing SAP projects and integration related projects within an IT organization. - Proficiency in data analytics and business intelligence tools. - Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills. - Experience working in a Global environment. - High degree of interpersonal skills.
