Telephony Lead

Key Deliverables: Configure, manage, and optimize SIP trunks, call routing, VoIP gateways, and PBX systems (e.g., Asterisk, Avaya, Cisco). Troubleshoot complex SIP-based issues, including SIP registration, call setup, media negotiation, and VoIP failures. Ensure the security and compliance of SIP-based communications through protocols like TLS, SRTP, and mutual TLS. Optimize call quality by managing NAT traversal, QoS, and firewall configurations, and lead troubleshooting efforts with tools like Wireshark and SIPp. Provide in-depth reporting and analytics on call quality, system performance, and optimizations. Role Responsibilities: Maintain and troubleshoot telephony infrastructure, including PBX systems, SBCs, and voice gateways, ensuring seamless communication. Handle L3 escalations related to call failures, audio issues, jitter, and latency, analyzing SIP traces and logs. Work closely with network and security teams to optimize system performance and address SIP-related issues with telecom providers. Configure and ensure compliance with SIP protocol standards and implement security measures to prevent fraud and unauthorized access. Monitor and report on system performance, leveraging advanced troubleshooting tools and setting up dashboards for call quality analytics.
