About the role
Role Overview: As the NOC Manager at the company's Bangalore location, you will be responsible for leading the Network Operations Center (NOC) function. Your role involves ensuring stable, secure, and high-performing day-to-day operations for global network services, including WAN, Edge networks, data center connectivity, cloud interconnectivity, and network security services. You will lead a team in monitoring, incident and problem management, operational readiness, and service performance. Collaboration with the NOC team based in Montevideo will be essential to maintain consistent processes and a unified operating model. Key Responsibilities: - Lead NOC operations for global network and security services, including WAN, office and industrial edge networks, data center connectivity, cloud connectivity, and network security services. - Operate as one global NOC with the Montevideo team, ensuring shared SOPs, consistent escalation paths, and unified communications during incidents. - Own service performance metrics such as SLAs, OLAs, KPIs, and operational dashboards, including availability, incident response time, incident volume, and change success rate. - Provide leadership in incident and problem management, firewall/security operations oversight, vendor/MSP management, operational excellence, continuous improvement, change and operational readiness, stakeholder management, and people leadership. Qualifications Required: - 8+ years of experience in network operations/IT operations, with at least 3 years in people leadership roles. - Proven ability to manage operations across time zones and collaborate effectively with peer teams. - Strong operational leadership skills, including structured communication and cross-team resolution abilities. - Solid understanding of LAN operations, Cisco enterprise environments, Aruba WiFi operations, firewalls, network security, and ITIL-aligned practices.
