Data Engineer

API integration) , Very strong SQL skills, Good to have Python and STRIIM and ETL/ELT design, Metadata driven ETL and DQ experience needs experience with Orchestration - Google Cloud composer and good to gave google Dataplex exposure for governance control Detailed JD Data Analysis & Profiling Perform detailed analysis of legacy systems. Conduct data profiling to identify: Data quality issues Duplicates Missing records Invalid relationships Data inconsistencies Assess source-to-target data mappings. Collaborate with business teams to define data cleansing rules. Data Mapping & Transformation Prepare Source-to-Target Mapping (STM) documents. Map legacy data structures to Siebel data entities such as: Accounts Contacts Opportunities Assets Products Orders Service Requests Activities Define business transformation rules. Implement data standardization and enrichment processes ETL Development & Migration Execution Design and develop ETL processes for migration. Build reusable migration components and frameworks. Perform: Data Extraction Data Cleansing Data Transformation Data Loading Execute trial migrations and production migrations. Optimize migration performance for large datasets. Data Quality & Reconciliation Establish data quality controls and validation checks. Develop reconciliation reports to validate: Record counts Data completeness Data accuracy Referential integrity Investigate and resolve migration discrepancies. Ensure sign-off criteria are achieved. Testing & Defect Resolution Support SIT, UAT, mock migration, and production migration cycles. Collaborate with QA teams to resolve migration-related defects. Conduct post-migration validations. Support business verification and acceptance activities. Governance & Documentation Create and maintain: Data Migration Strategy Data Mapping Documents Data Migration Design Documents Reconciliation Reports Cutover Plans Migration Runbooks Participate in governance reviews and project audits. Ensure compliance with data governance standards.
