You will be responsible for driving the evolution of our micro-frontend architecture while owning critical backend query pipelines. This is a role for a self-starter who bridges the gap between front-end elegance and back-end performance, ensuring seamless delivery across multiple lines of business (RDR, BMI, and SF). Core Responsibilities Architectural Leadership: Act as the primary technical point of contact for cross-functional teams. You will drive the migration of legacy systems (Vue.js) to modern frameworks (React 18/Next.js) and architect shared micro-frontend components. Full-Stack Ownership: Design and implement robust backend services using Java Spring Boot and manage complex data migrations (e.g., Fusion to ElasticSearch). System Optimization: Own the end-to-end CI/CD pipeline, ensuring high observability and mapping codebase dependencies across all Fitch-owned frontend sources. Team Mentorship: Guide offshore developers and QA teams through story grooming, code reviews, and unblocking GitHub CI/CD implementation hurdles. Production Stability: Resolve high-priority production blockers and ensure scalable, reliable processing for critical features like real-time alert systems. Technical Requirements Front-End Expertise: React.js (Expert), Next.js, Node.js, Micro-frontend architecture, and CSS Design Systems. Back-End Expertise: Java Spring Boot, REST API design, and MongoDB. Search & Data Expertise: ElasticSearch & Kibana (Query optimization and pipeline migration). DevOps Expertise: End-to-end CI/CD pipeline construction, GitHub Actions, and Observability mapping. Who You Are An Adaptive Expert: You might have a Front-End background, but you are more than willing to master backend technologies to unblock a project. A Documentation Champion: You don't just write code; you create the blueprints and documentation that allow other teams to follow your lead. A High-Agency Performer: You have a track record of owning 75–90% of a project's lifecycle, from initial boilerplate to final deployment. A Mentor: You enjoy upskilling junior and senior developers alike, fostering a culture of technical excellence. Preferred Experience Experience migrating large-scale legacy applications to React-based micro-frontends. Proven success in transitioning search query pipelines from Fusion to ElasticSearch. History of working in a lead capacity within offshore/distributed team structures.
