As a Performance Engineer specializing in Robotics and Linux platforms, you will play a crucial role in validating and enhancing the performance of graphics processors and robotics systems. Your responsibilities will include: - Performing workload performance testing and benchmarking on Linux and Robotics platforms - Analyzing and debugging system/SOC level performance issues - Collaborating with hardware and software teams to enhance overall platform performance - Developing and executing test plans for industry workloads - Working on multiple projects and collaborating with global teams - Supporting performance validation for CPU/APU, PCIe, memory, and server platforms - Utilizing scripting/programming languages for automation and analysis To excel in this role, you should possess: - 812 years of experience in Performance Engineering - Minimum 5 years of experience in the Robotics domain - Strong knowledge of Linux and Robotics frameworks like ROS - Good understanding of computer architecture including CPU, x86, PCIe, and memory - Proficiency in C/C++, Python, or Perl scripting - Familiarity with server operating systems and virtualization platforms such as Linux, VMware, KVM, and Windows Server - Strong debugging and analytical skills - Effective communication and teamwork abilities Preferred skills that would be beneficial for this role include experience with container environments, SOC/system-level debugging, and performance test planning and automation.
