About the role
As an Azure Infra and DevOps Architect, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and management of secure, scalable, and reliable cloud environments primarily on Microsoft Azure. Your role may also involve exposure to AWS and GCP. Key Responsibilities: - Landing Zone Setup & Governance - Design, implement, and manage Azure Landing Zones for enterprise-grade environments. - Review and enhance existing architectures in alignment with Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and Azure best practices. - Define governance, compliance, and operational standards for cloud deployments. - Mentor and guide teams on infrastructure design and cloud adoption methodologies. - Network Design & Implementation - Architect and deploy secure, scalable network topologies (Hub-Spoke, Peer-to-Peer, etc.). - Configure ExpressRoute, VPNs, Private Endpoints, DNS Zones, and Site-to-Site VPNs. - Implement WAF, HA/DR strategies, and load balancing for mission-critical applications. - Troubleshoot network routing and security protocols (BGP, OSPF, IPSec, SSL, TCP/IP). - Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Automation - Design and maintain Terraform templates and CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure provisioning. - Automate cloud resource deployments and ensure environment consistency across stages. - Build and manage Docker images and support containerized infrastructure delivery. - Security & Firewall Management - Deploy and manage Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW) across hybrid and cloud environments. - Configure and maintain Panorama, security policies, NAT rules, and threat prevention measures. - Apply Zero Trust Network Architecture (ZTNA) and SASE principles to enhance cloud security posture. Required Skills & Qualifications: - 10+ years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps architecture. - Strong expertise in Azure Landing Zone Design and governance frameworks. - Proven proficiency with Terraform and other IaC tools. - Deep understanding of Azure Networking, including ExpressRoute, VPNs, Private Endpoints, DNS, and WAF. - Strong grasp of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, IPSec, SSL). - Experience in firewall management and security operations within Azure. - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert. - Familiarity with AWS/GCP Cloud Architecture. - Exposure to Zero Trust and SASE frameworks.
