About the Job We are seeking a highly experienced D365 Finance & Operations SCM Functional Consultant, focused on configuring D365 F&O SCM modules to fit business needs with minimal customization and ensuring standard D365 functionality is optimally leveraged. The role requires deep functional expertise across SCM modules and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable D365 F&O solutions while following Microsoft best practices. Core Responsibilities The consultant will own end-to-end SCM configurations, ensuring system behaviour fully supports business operations across procurement, inventory, warehousing, planning, and sales fulfilment. Detailed Configuration Responsibilities Inventory Management - Configure inventory model groups, item model groups - Define inventory dimensions and reservation hierarchies - Configure inventory journals and status controls Warehouse Management (Advanced WMS) - Configure warehouses, locations, zones - Define wave templates, work templates, and mobile menus - Optimize picking, putaway, replenishment, and cross-docking Product Information Management - Configure product lifecycle states - Product attributes, variants, and categories - Released product templates and default order settings Procurement & Sourcing - Configure vendors, trade agreements, workflows - Purchase requisitions, RFQs, and approvals Sales & Distribution - Configure sales order types - Pricing, discounts, delivery modes - Reservation and fulfillment rules Master Planning (MRP) - Configure coverage groups and safety stock - Planning parameters, lead times, calendars Additional Responsibilities - Act as primary SCM point of contact - Lead D365 F&O SCM upgrades and rollouts - Support Functional testing, UAT support and end-user training - Translate business requirements into functional solutions - Excellent documentation and communication skills - Ability to lead functional discussions independently Required Skills - Data entities, dual-write - Integration concepts (Logic Apps, Power Automate Nice to have) - Azure DevOps for project tracking - Multi-country / multi-legal entity rollout experience - ISV solutions exposure (WMS add-ons, demand planning tools) - Agile or hybrid project methodology experience - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent stakeholder management - Leadership and mentoring capability - Ability to work in fast-paced, global environments Qualifications - B.Tech / M.Tech / B.E / M.E / MCA, or similar. - Microsoft certifications (MB-300, MB-330, MB-335) - 8+ yrs of overall ERP experience, with 5+ yrs in D365 F&O SCM About the Job We are seeking a highly experienced D365 Finance & Operations SCM Functional Consultant, focused on configuring D365 F&O SCM modules to fit business needs with minimal customization and ensuring standard D365 functionality is optimally leveraged.
