About the role
As a highly experienced Solution Architect specializing in Intelligent Application Development (IAD) and Data/AI, your role involves leading the design and delivery of modern, cloud-native solutions across various platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and AWS. You will collaborate with stakeholders to define target architectures, guide implementation, ensure non-functional requirements, and drive measurable outcomes. Role Overview: - Own end-to-end solution architecture for large-scale transformation programs focusing on application modernization and data/AI platforms. - Translate business objectives into target-state architectures, solution blueprints, and implementation roadmaps. - Define integration patterns and reference architectures for microservices, APIs, event-driven systems, and domain-aligned platforms. - Lead architecture governance by setting standards, conducting design reviews, and ensuring alignment with enterprise principles. - Guide engineering teams through build, test, deployment, and operational readiness, managing technical risks along the way. - Ensure solutions meet non-functional requirements including scalability, performance, resiliency, security, compliance, and cost efficiency. - Implement modern cloud-native applications using patterns like microservices, serverless, containers, and event streaming. - Implement CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), testing strategies, observability, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices. Key Responsibilities: - Design modern data architectures including lakehouse/data warehouse, streaming analytics, and governed data products. - Architect data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration pipelines with reliability, lineage, and quality controls. - Define data governance and security measures such as IAM/RBAC, encryption, key management, cataloging, DLP, privacy, and regulatory compliance. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 1520 years of overall IT experience with significant experience as a Solution Architect on complex programs. - Strong architecture depth in Azure and GCP for application modernization and data/AI solutions, with exposure to AWS in multi-cloud environments. - Expertise in cloud-native design, microservices, containers, serverless, API management, and event-driven architectures. - Strong data platform experience and understanding of AI/ML lifecycle. - Experience in DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and observability practices. - Relevant certifications: Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect and/or Professional Data Engineer, AWS Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional) desirable. This job requires ownership, a bias for action, and the ability to handle ambiguity in large transformation environments. Additionally, experience with enterprise architecture frameworks, reusable reference architectures, and domain knowledge in BFSI, retail, manufacturing, healthcare, or public sector transformation programs would be advantageous.
