Job Title: Technical Account Manager — Cloud & Managed Services Role Overview We are seeking a highly accomplished and certified Technical Account Manager (TAM) to serve as a strategic advisor and executive-facing leader for enterprise cloud managed services customers. The TAM will act as the trusted technical and business partner to CXO-level stakeholders, driving cloud strategy, operational excellence, financial optimization, and long-term value realization across AWS/Azure/GCP environments. This role requires deep technical credibility, executive presence, and the ability to translate complex cloud architectures into measurable business outcomes. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities 1. Executive Customer Leadership & CXO Engagement Serve as the executive-facing technical leader for assigned strategic accounts Engage with CIO/CTO/CISO and senior business stakeholders on cloud strategy and transformation roadmap Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and Executive Steering Committees Translate technical metrics into business value narratives Act as customer advocate within the organization and drive strategic alignment ________________________________________ 2. Strategic Cloud Advisory & Architecture Governance Provide architectural oversight across AWS/Azure environments Guide customers on modernization, reliability engineering, security posture, and automation Recommend improvements aligned to Well-Architected principles and FinOps practices Lead cloud maturity assessments and roadmap planning Support digital transformation and cloud-native adoption initiatives ________________________________________ 3. Managed Services Governance & Operational Excellence Govern SLA, KPI, and OLA adherence across CloudOps, SRE, Security, DevOps, and Platform teams Drive continuous service improvement programs Ensure ITIL best practices across Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management Lead escalation management and crisis resolution Oversee DR readiness, capacity planning, and operational risk mitigation ________________________________________ 4. Financial & Commercial Stewardship Provide cloud consumption insights and cost optimization strategies Drive FinOps discussions with customer finance and IT leaders Support renewals, expansions, and cross-sell opportunities Ensure service alignment with contractual commitments and business outcomes ________________________________________ 5. Leadership & Cross-Functional Orchestration Lead cross-functional technical teams to deliver seamless managed services Mentor junior TAMs and delivery leaders Collaborate with Sales, Pre-Sales, Architecture, and Product teams Drive automation-first and reliability-first mindset across teams ________________________________________ Required Qualifications & Certifications (Mandatory) Cloud Certifications (At least one Professional-level required) AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional / DevOps Engineer - Professional OR Azure Solutions Architect Expert OR Google Professional Cloud Architect Additional Certifications (Strongly Preferred) ITIL Foundation / ITIL Intermediate FinOps Practitioner Certification PMP / PRINCE2 CISSP / Cloud Security certifications (for security-focused accounts) ________________________________________ Experience & Profile 12+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Cloud, or Managed Services 5+ years in Technical Account Management / Service Delivery Leadership / Cloud Program Management Proven experience managing large enterprise or strategic accounts Demonstrated ability to engage and influence CXO-level stakeholders Experience handling multi-million-dollar managed services portfolios
