Microsoft 365 Consultant

We are a Microsoft Solutions Partner and managed services provider looking for a senior M365 Consultant to join our delivery team. This is a hands-on L3 role. You own the complex issues, the security posture, and the escalations. This role is not internal IT support. You manage environments for multiple clients simultaneously and operate with high autonomy. Responsibilities Serve as the L3 escalation point for all M365 issues Design, implement, and manage M365 security posture across client environments Conditional Access, Defender for M365, Entra ID governance, MFA, and identity protection Manage and optimise M365 environments across the full stack Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Intune Own M365 compliance and data governance Purview, DLP, eDiscovery, retention policies, and sensitivity labels Proactively monitor client M365 environments, identify security gaps and risks, and drive resolution before incidents occur Lead client-facing calls, gather requirements, and translate them into technical solutions Build and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and technical documentation for managed clients Support license management, tenant health, and periodic reporting for managed accounts Must Have 57 years of hands-on M365 administration experience in a multi-client environment Deep M365 security expertise Microsoft Defender for M365, Conditional Access, Entra ID identity protection, MFA, Secure Score, and threat investigation Entra ID depth Conditional Access policies, hybrid identity, Entra Connect, SSPR, privileged identity management Microsoft Purview DLP, eDiscovery, insider risk, sensitivity labels, retention policies Advanced PowerShell scripting for M365 administration, automation, bulk operations, and reporting must be able to write scripts from scratch, not just run existing ones Microsoft Intune device compliance policies, app deployment, MDM/MAM Exchange Online administration mail flow, transport rules, anti-spam, message trace, EAC Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert or Security Administrator Associate Experience working in an MSP, consulting firm, or Microsoft partner multi-client exposure is mandatory Structured and documentation-oriented Good to have Exchange hybrid or on-prem experience coexistence, connectors, attribute sync M365 migration experience on-prem to Exchange Online, tenant-to-tenant, cutover or staged We are a Microsoft Solutions Partner and managed services provider looking for a senior M365 Consultant to join our delivery team.
