Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities: - 812+ years of experience in data engineering with Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake). - Strong SQL and Python (PySpark) skills; familiarity with Scala is a plus. - Hands-on experience with medallion architecture, Delta Lake features (OPTIMIZE/Z-ORDER, time travel), and Snowflake features (virtual warehouses, streams/tasks, micro-partitions). - Proficiency in Azure Data Factory (or similar orchestration), Git-based CI/CD, and environment promotion. - Demonstrated expertise in performance tuning and cost management across both platforms. - Solid understanding of data governance, security, and regulatory/reporting needs (lineage, auditability, evidence-based releases).
