About the role
As a Data Analyst at Morningstar in the US Shift, your role will involve working with diverse datasets such as public equity filings, private market transactions, ESG taxonomies, Managed Investment Data (Funds), and reference entity data. You will have the opportunity to build your knowledge about investment management, enhance your skills in tools like Excel, SQL, and Power BI, and undergo structured training for continuous growth and long-term success. Key Responsibilities: - Search, collect, and verify data of basic and intermediate levels of complexity - Attend to internal/client queries and requests to ensure alignment with data methodologies and policy guidelines - Learn research methods and process standards to ensure productivity, quality, and timeliness - Collaborate with team members and external parties to resolve data issues - Innovate and improve processes/tools or participate in stretch projects besides core responsibilities Qualifications Required: - Hold a Bachelor's degree (preferably in finance) with 60% marks - Demonstrate English communication skills (written/oral/comprehension) - Proficient in MS Office tools, especially Excel and Word - Quick learner with a proactive mindset and attention to detail - Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under tight deadlines If you are a fresh graduate or a professional with up to 1 year of experience, you are encouraged to apply.
