About the role
Role Overview: You will be a key member of the design team at Morphogenesis, a globally recognized architectural firm. Your role will involve coordinating with project managers and consultants to ensure project goals in design, execution, and sustainability are met. You will play a crucial part in guiding the team to adhere to the Firm's Design Philosophy and stay updated with global design standards and technological advancements. Your ability to resolve technical and design challenges through innovative thinking will be essential in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate with project managers and consultants to ensure project goals in design, execution, and sustainability are achieved. - Guide the team to adhere to the Firm's Design Philosophy. - Stay updated with global design standards and technological advancements and share knowledge with the team. - Understand the integration of Faade with Interiors and Landscape and guide the team accordingly. - Review drawings, specifications, and construction tasks to maintain quality control. - Create and maintain project manuals and specifications. - Contribute to Design Reviews by gathering and presenting information. - Conduct on-site observations, document site reviews, and address RFIs. - Assist Team Lead in preparing Client Presentations. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors or masters degree in architecture from an accredited institute. - Strong design conceptualization and execution skills with proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and other advanced software. - Knowledge of architectural standards/processes and sustainability standards such as GRIHA, LEED, ECBC, and WELL. - Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. - Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively. - Familiarity with Morphogenesis procedures and standards.
