About the role
As an Azure Architect specializing in .NET applications, your role is crucial in designing end-to-end architecture for Azure-based .NET applications. Your responsibilities include ensuring scalability, security, and performance of the applications. Additionally, you will apply CPQ domain knowledge to streamline configuration, pricing, and quoting processes. You will guide development teams in implementing best practices for coding, testing, and deployment. Furthermore, you will architect integrations between CPQ platforms and enterprise systems using APIs and Event Services. Your expertise will be utilized in defining cloud adoption strategies by leveraging Azure services such as App Services, Functions, Event Service Bus, Key Vault, and Azure DevOps. You will also create RESTful APIs and ensure adherence to API design principles. Implementing caching, CDN, OAuth, MFA, and OWASP security standards will form a part of your responsibilities. Collaboration with business teams, product owners, and clients to translate functional requirements into technical solutions is another key aspect of your role. Your contribution to the Agile development process is highly valued. Qualifications required for this role include: - 12+ years of experience and strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, Web API, Entity Framework Core, and SQL Server. - 5+ years of experience with Azure services like App Services, Functions, Storage, Event Service Bus, Key Vault, and Redis. - 5+ years of experience with ReactJS for front-end architecture. - Experience in understanding legacy code and refactoring. - Understanding of CPQ workflows, pricing engines, product configuration, and quote generation. - Solid grasp of SOLID principles, design patterns, and microservices architecture. - Experience building applications with concepts like CDN, caching, bundling, lazy loading, and minifying. - Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, pipelines, and automated deployments. - Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
