About the role
Role Overview: As a UX/UI Designer, your primary focus will be to collaborate with Product and clients to understand business objectives and effectively communicate product vision through experience design. You will stay updated on products and trends, translating concepts into service blueprints, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs. Your role involves understanding user psychology, conducting usability testing, creating personas, and defining interaction models to drive successful user experiences. Additionally, you will need to keep abreast of industry trends, optimize existing interfaces, and effectively communicate design ideas to stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Understand product specifications, technical requirements, and user needs to drive design decisions. - Conduct concept and usability testing, gather feedback, and create user personas through research. - Develop task flows, wireframes, and prototypes based on user requirements. - Identify opportunities to enhance user interfaces and solve UX problems creatively. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to progress from product discovery to deployment. - Keep abreast of competitor products and industry trends to drive innovation. - Communicate design concepts and prototypes effectively to technical and delivery stakeholders. - Lead virtual teams through the design lifecycle, demonstrating strong people leadership skills. - Identify and address risk and security impacts in designs, ensuring compliance with relevant governance processes. - Develop accessible designs to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 3 years of proven experience in UX/UI design, preferably in financial services. - Proficiency in interaction design and human-centered design methodologies. - Hands-on experience with design software such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and knowledge of HTML/CSS. - Qualifications in Design, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields. - Strong problem-solving aptitude, analytical mindset, and excellent communication skills. - Ability to present designs to stakeholders, justify design decisions, and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
