As the Director of Cybersecurity at MX, you will play a crucial role in maturing the operational security capabilities, enhancing the threat detection and response program, and driving strategic improvements. Your responsibilities will include: - Driving the use of GenAI and Agentic AI to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Security functions. - Securing Generative AI (GenAI) models and related data pipelines, focusing on prompt injection mitigation and LLM security. - Demonstrating expertise in securing agentic AI systems, emphasizing on runtime protection, secure communication between agents, and mitigating risks associated with autonomous operations. - Understanding modern cloud and network security principles, particularly in AWS and GCP. - Executing and leading all Cybersecurity verticals, from product design reviews to CI/CD security to runtime security. Your role will involve: - Developing and refining the vision and strategy for the Security Engineering and Operations program. - Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing team of cybersecurity engineers, focusing on Service Ownership. - Continuously evaluating and improving engineering processes and system/control performance. - Partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure services protect customer data and maintain platform integrity. - Selecting and implementing technology solutions to provide required security control capabilities, especially in AWS cloud environments. - Developing and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track security technologies and program effectiveness. - Ensuring compliance with security regulations and standards, supporting audits as necessary. - Cultivating a culture of security across MX and driving cross-functional security initiatives. Basic Qualifications: - 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, or related fields. - 5+ years in a leadership role overseeing security operations or engineering teams. - 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud security, particularly in AWS or GCP environments. - 3+ years of experience securing Generative AI (GenAI) systems, including LLM security, prompt injection mitigation, and data pipeline protection. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience securing agentic AI systems, including runtime protection and secure agent communication. - Strong understanding of modern security architecture patterns. - Experience implementing security tools and platforms across cloud environments. - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (Masters or relevant certifications preferred).
