Associate Staff Engineer, Dayforce Consultant

Job Description REQUIREMENTS: Total Experience 5+ years Hands-on experience working with Ceridian Dayforce across multiple modules. Strong functional knowledge of HR, Payroll, Time & Attendance, and Workforce Management processes. Proven experience with Dayforce configuration, workflows, pay policies, scheduling, and security. Experience supporting Dayforce integrations (APIs, SFTP, imports/exports, XML/JSON). Solid understanding of HR/Payroll data structures, compliance requirements, and audit practices. Experience managing end-to-end delivery including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and production support. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Dayforce certification(s) preferred. RESPONSIBILITIES: Writing and reviewing great quality code Configure, maintain, and support Ceridian Dayforce HCM modules including Core HCM, Payroll, Time & Attendance, Workforce Management, Benefits, and Recruiting. Analyze business requirements in collaboration with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Operations, and IT stakeholders. Translate business needs into effective Dayforce configurations, workflows, pay rules, schedules, and security roles. Lead or support Dayforce implementations, module rollouts, enhancements, and new feature enablement. Troubleshoot functional and technical issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal business impact. Support ongoing system maintenance, upgrades, and Dayforce release management activities. Design, maintain, and support integrations between Dayforce and external systems using APIs, SFTP, and file-based interfaces. Perform data loads, audits, reconciliations, and validations to ensure data accuracy and compliance. Develop and maintain Dayforce reports, dashboards, and analytics to support operational and leadership needs. Conduct regression testing, support UAT, and assist with production deployments. Create and maintain detailed documentation for configurations, processes, and change requests. Provide functional and technical guidance, training, and knowledge transfer to internal teams and end users. Qualifications Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
