About the role
Education BE /B. Tech /MCA /Engineering Experience Minimum 6 years of experience 2+ years of experience as an Application Tester / QA Analyst Experience in biometrics domain in testing Technical & Analytics Skills Proficient in Java, Python, Selenium, API testing (postman) or similar technology Skilled in designing, executing and managing test strategies within Agile and waterfall models CI/CD tools and practices Strong understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and defect management Experience testing web and/or mobile applications Knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail and communication skills Preferred Certifications / Training: Certified Biometrics Professional (CBP) ISO/IEC 30107 (Presentation Attack Detection) Training AI/ML or Data Annotation Certifications CFE / CFCS Key responsibilities: Functional & Manual Testing 1. Running of regular testing of application received from ecosystem partner and internal applications related to biometrics 2. Analyse business and technical requirements to create test scenarios and test cases. 3. Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect management tools. 4. Perform regression, smoke, sanity, and UAT support testing. Automation & Technical Testing (if applicable) 1. Develop and maintain automated test scripts. 2. Execute automation test suites and analyse results. 3. Collaborate with developers to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines. Documentation & Collaboration 1. Consolidation of reports and analysis of same based on challenge scope 2. Work closely with developers, product owners, and business teams. 3. Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives). Preferred Certifications (any one): ISTQB Certified Tester – Foundation Level (CTFL) ISTQB® Advanced Test Analyst Certified Agile Tester (CAT) Certified Selenium Tester / Automation Certification
