Associate/Sr. Associate Backend Developer (Mumbai)

Role Contour : The Backend Developer is responsible for system functionality. Its function is to integrate the application with all necessary systems and services and provide a clean and easy-to-use API in the frontend. Although his work is often hidden from the user, he has full responsibility for the functionality, performance and scalability of the application. Knows how to write clean, up-to-date APIs, integrate with legacy systems, and work with databases.\n\n\nAccountabilities :\n\n\n\nDesign and develop the business logic and product backend systems.\n\n\nWork closely with frontend developers to design and develop functional, performance and complete APIs.\n\n\nDecrypt existing enterprise software systems and connect application to applicable data sources.\n\n\nWrite unit, integration, and performance tests. Develop automation tools and continuous integration pipelines for daily tasks.\n\n\nDevelop at high quality, with good documentation and with efficient code.\n\n\nChallenge ideas and opinions to avoid errors and inefficient solutions.\n\n\n\nQualifications and Skills :\n\n\n\n3+ years of experience as backend developer with experience in Java, Node, Scala, etc., significant API expertise for large-scale apps and performance optimization.\n\n\nDeep knowledge of programming principles and object-oriented engineering (e.g., SOLID, clean architecture).\n\n\nFamiliarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB).\n\n\nIntegration experience with JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular JS)\n\n\nEffective testing abilities (unit, integration, API)\n\n\n\nAgile/Digital Experience :\n\n\n\nStrong understanding of agile methodologies\n\n\nExperience as a developer in a cross-functional agile team\n\n\n\nIndividual Skills :\n\n\n\nStrong communication skills with the ability to communicate complex nical concepts and align the organization on decisions\n\n\nStrong problem-solving skills to quickly process complex information and present it clearly and effectively\n\n\nUtilize team collaboration to create innovative solutions efficiently\n\n\n\nMindsets and Behaviors :\n\n\n\nPassionate about technology and excited about the impact of emerging/disruptive technologies\n\n\nWants to unleash the internal entrepreneur and work in an environment that fosters entrepreneurial minds\n\n\nBelieves in the culture of transparency and trust and open to learning new ideas. . .
