Role Overview: Join the digital revolution at NatWest Digital X in Gurugram, India, where the focus is on creating effortless and secure digital experiences. As a DevOps Engineer at NatWest, you will play a key role in accelerating learning journeys, promoting cultural change, and shaping the DevOps capability and culture at scale. Key Responsibilities: - Accelerate learning journeys and promote the adoption of DevOps tools, practices, and standards within the DevOps centre-of-excellence - Build trusted partnerships with engineering and platform teams to make resilient and commercially focused technology decisions - Design, build, and operate cloud native platforms and delivery pipelines, with a strong focus on Kubernetes - Mentor and coach teams to higher levels of DevOps maturity, enabling them to adopt modern automation, reliability, and operational practices - Implement GitOps workflows using tools like Argo CD and GitLab - Build and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code, primarily Terraform - Support Kubernetes networking, security, and observability using tools such as Cilium and the Grafana suite - Enable scalable and cost-aware platforms, including autoscaling approaches like Karpenter - Contribute to DevOps centre-of-excellence standards, policies, tooling, and reference architectures - Ensure platform and delivery decisions are based on robust data, security requirements, return on investment, and cost management Qualifications Required: - Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform - Experience implementing CI/CD and GitOps practices using tools like GitLab and Argo CD - Knowledge of Kubernetes networking, security, and observability, including Cilium, Ingress, and the Grafana ecosystem - Strong experience with AWS and container orchestration using Kubernetes and Helm - Ability to work effectively in regulated or complex organizations - Curiosity, strong engineering instinct, and the desire to shape platforms and practices that elevate DevOps across the bank Role Overview: Join the digital revolution at NatWest Digital X in Gurugram, India, where the focus is on creating effortless and secure digital experiences.
