About the role
As a Data Analyst, you will be joining a cutting-edge team where you will contribute to the analysis of complex bank, franchise, or function data to identify business issues and opportunities. Your role will involve providing high-quality analytical input to help develop and implement innovative processes and problem resolution across the bank. This hands-on position will allow you to hone your data analysis expertise and gain valuable experience in a dynamic area of the business. The role is being offered at the associate vice president level. Key Responsibilities: - Perform data extraction, storage, manipulation, processing, and analysis - Develop and perform standard queries to ensure data quality and identify inconsistencies and missing data - Execute and maintain data controls across Financial Crime to ensure data integrity - Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that inform business decisions - Provide actionable insights to address business challenges - Develop and implement reports to visualize key performance indicators and track business performance - Present findings and insights to stakeholders, providing recommendations for improvements - Define remediation plans to improve data quality - Identify controls requirements with actionable insights to improve - Build and maintain collaborative partnerships with key business stakeholders - Design and publish periodic reports to track key performance metrics and support data-driven decision making Qualifications Required: - 10+ years of experience using data analysis tools - In-depth understanding of data interrelationships and multiple data domains - Background in delivering research based on qualitative and quantitative data - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Background in Financial Crime initiatives, data management, and a control environment - Background in Support environment and working within Agile Frameworks - Ability to interpret customer needs and turn them into functional or data requirements and process models - Good knowledge and experience in using SQL for data analysis and reporting - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including formulas, charts, pivots for effective MI reporting This is a hybrid role working in India Hours. You are expected to demonstrate strong analytic and problem-solving abilities, as well as a keen eye for detail in your work. The job posting closing date is 29/05/2025.
