The Work Design and implement scalable backend APIs and services using Node.js and TypeScript. Collaborate closely with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration and full-stack ownership when needed. Optimize existing services for performance and reliability, ensuring a smooth user experience. Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing to foster a culture of continuous improvement. Engage in agile development practices, including sprint planning and backlog grooming. What You'll Need 4+ years of experience in backend development, with a strong focus on Node.js and TypeScript. Proficiency in React for full-stack responsibilities, ensuring a cohesive development process. Experience building and maintaining backend APIs and services, with a strong understanding of RESTful principles. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, contributing to both backend and occasional full-stack tasks. Nice to Have Experience working in the US fintech ecosystem, providing insights into industry standards and practices. Familiarity with cloud services and deployment strategies to enhance service scalability. Knowledge of database management and optimization techniques.
