About the role
As a Senior Software Engineer at NCR, you will be a part of the Hospitality E-Commerce team in Hyderabad, working towards enhancing consumer experiences and improving restaurant services. Your role will involve developing high-quality software solutions in collaboration with a team of Engineers. You will contribute to the design and development of complex resilient scalable enterprise products, ensuring they meet requirement specifications. Key Responsibilities: - Develop high quality software solutions that meet requirements and promote re-use of software components - Diagnose, isolate, identify, and fix errors in software code - Update and design software, incorporating knowledge of different design patterns - Identify and implement process improvements in Engineering practices - Validate input and technical content for technical documentation, user help materials, and customer training - Conduct unit tests, track problems, and implement changes to ensure adherence to test plan and functional/nonfunctional requirements - Create high fidelity estimates of work efforts and assist in estimating task effort and dependencies - Lead and advise other Engineering resources as part of project activities - Participate in industry groups, stay current with technology trends, and disseminate knowledge to team members Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field - Minimum of 5+ years of experience in core development - Skills in C#.Net, SQL Server, ASP.NET, SQL, Web API, Web Application Development, Solid Principles, Design Patterns, Multithreading - Experience with Version Controllers like TFS, GitHub and Process methodologies like SAFe/Agile - Additional knowledge in Coded UI, Cypress, TypeScript, RabbitMQ, IIS, Material UI Figma - Active participant in code reviews and excellent troubleshooting skills - Ability to work in an agile, dynamic, and fast-paced environment - Excellent written and verbal communication skills Note: This is a full-time, permanent role in the IT Services & Consulting industry, focusing on Software Development. The position requires 5-9 years of experience with skills in Test Planning, Coding, Enterprise Applications, SQL, IIS, Scrum, Multithreading, and Agile methodologies.
