Cisco IQ Link Deployment engineer

Job Title: Cisco IQ Link Deployment Engineer Role Type: Customer / Program Support Engineer Job Overview We are looking for a deployment and support engineer to act as a Customer/Program Support Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for onboarding customers to Cisco IQ Link , ensuring successful deployment, telemetry integration, issue resolution, and overall adoption across the theatre. Key Responsibilities Deployment & Configuration: Deploy and configure Cisco IQ Link on virtualization platforms including VMware ESXi, Hyper-V, and KVM. Prerequisite Validation: Configure and validate deployment prerequisites such as Static IP, DNS, SNMP, SSH, HTTPS, and NTP. Telemetry Integration: Integrate telemetry with various Cisco platforms, including Catalyst Center, Intersight, Meraki, SD-WAN Manager, and Webex Control Hub. Troubleshooting & Support: Troubleshoot customer IT infrastructure issues involving DNS, DHCP, firewalls, proxies, device credentials, and SNMP. Validate telemetry health to ensure successful onboarding. Customer Engagement: Conduct customer onboarding sessions and weekly office hours. Track deployments, resolve blockers, and hand over completed setups to the customer success team. Agile Collaboration: Participate in daily scrum meetings and provide regular deployment status updates. Required Skills & Qualifications Networking Fundamentals: Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, Routing, Firewall, and Proxy/NAT. Protocols: Hands-on experience with SSH, HTTPS, SNMP v2c/v3, NTP, and related network protocols. Virtualization: Expertise in working with VMware ESXi/vCenter, Hyper-V, and KVM environments. Cisco Ecosystem: Familiarity with Cisco solutions such as Catalyst Center, Intersight, Meraki, SD-WAN Manager, and Webex Control Hub. Communication: Good communication skills with the ability to comfortably conduct customer onboarding sessions and webinars.
