Process Draughtsman

We are looking for a Process Draughtsman to create detailed technical drawings and schematics for process systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. The role involves working closely with engineers and project teams to develop process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and other technical drawings. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Key Responsibilities: Prepare P&IDs, PFDs, and other process-related drawings using AutoCAD or AutoCAD Plant 3D software. Develop and modify plant layout drawings, equipment arrangements, and piping schematics. Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, project specifications, and client requirements. Collaborate with process engineers, mechanical engineers, and project teams to refine designs. Review and update drawings based on engineering changes or feedback. Maintain proper document control and ensure accurate revision tracking. Generating bill of materials (BOMs). Adhere to safety and quality standards in drafting work. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Requirements: ITI / Diploma Certification in Mechanical. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Plant 3D, or other drafting tools. Experience in preparing P&IDs, PFDs, and process-related drawings. Familiarity with ASME, ANSI, API, or other industry standards. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and coordination skills. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in industries like Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Water Treatment, or Chemical Processing. Knowledge of 3D modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD Plant 3D, Navis work, etc.). Understanding of engineering documentation and project workflows.
