About the role
JD Shift: Rotational Shift (5 days working) - 3-6 years of hands-on experience with enterprise switching technologies such as Cisco, Aruba, or Juniper. - Proficiency in handling network alerts and performing incident management to resolve issues like high CPU utilization, port errors, and network storms. - Strong knowledge of wireless networking, including access point deployment and troubleshooting. - In-depth understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, OSPF, BGP, and network security fundamentals. - Experience with network monitoring tools and techniques for ensuring network uptime and performance. - Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills to effectively resolve network issues and collaborate with team members. - Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or Aruba Certified Professional (ACP) are preferred. Key Responsibilities - Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Layer 2 network infrastructure using enterprise-grade technologies. - Monitor network infrastructure using advanced network monitoring tools and respond to operational alerts promptly. - Investigate and resolve network incidents related to switching, routing, wireless connectivity, and network performance, ensuring minimal downtime. - Deploy, configure, and maintain wireless access points and wireless LAN controllers to support seamless connectivity. - Perform root cause analysis for recurring network issues and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve network-related issues and support infrastructure projects, enhancing network capabilities. - Maintain comprehensive network documentation, configurations, and standard operating procedures to ensure network integrity and consistency. - Conduct regular network health checks and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
