Key Responsibilities - Lead the design and implementation of cloud solutions for enterprise clients, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-efficiency. - Collaborate with senior solution architects and CTOs to select the best technologies, advocating for best practices and innovation. - Conduct requirement analysis and feasibility studies, breaking down complex business requirements into technical solutions. - Mentor and guide development teams, providing hands-on leadership in data engineering, including distributed processing and data modeling. - Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to align solutions with business goals and present to client Enterprise Architects. - Take ownership of delivery, working closely with senior leads and project managers to oversee end-to-end responsibilities. - Ensure architectures are robust and maintainable by implementing best practices for data security and compliance. - Provide technical leadership in data engineering, focusing on real-time and batch data pipelines, security, and regulatory standards. Overview - This role is for a Technical Lead specializing in Data Analytics and Cloud at NowVertical, a global consulting firm headquartered in Toronto, Canada. - The position is based in Navi Mumbai, India, with occasional short-term travel to London. - The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in transforming client data into actionable insights, facilitating strategic growth and innovation across various business functions. - NowVertical prides itself on providing advanced data solutions tailored to meet the unique challenges of its clients, driving efficiency and innovation. - As a Technical Lead, you'll be responsible for defining architecture and leading the design and implementation of cloud solutions for enterprise clients. - You'll ensure these solutions are scalable, secure, and cost-efficient, aligning with business outcomes. - The role demands a deep understanding of multi-cloud environments, particularly Google Cloud Platform, and a strong capability in leading and mentoring technical teams. - You will collaborate with senior solution architects and CTOs to select optimal technologies, keeping abreast of emerging trends. - Your role will also involve presenting these solutions to client Enterprise Architects to secure agreement, requiring excellent communication skills to align solutions with business goals. - Your leadership will be crucial in managing a team, supporting project managers with effort estimation and risk analysis, and ensuring robust, maintainable, and secure architectures. - You'll also be responsible for ensuring quality control and compliance with data security standards. Requirements - 6-8 years of experience in data analytics and cloud environments, with a focus on multi-cloud platforms such as GCP and Azure. - Proven expertise in cloud data warehouses, particularly Snowflake, Azure SQL DW, and Google BigQuery. - Strong knowledge of integration and ingestion frameworks using tools like Python, Airflow, and Azure data pipelines. - Experience in managing cloud data warehouse, data lake projects, and digital transformation initiatives. - Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Experience in consulting with international clients, primarily in the UK & US, and a proven record of successful project delivery.
