Key Responsibilities - Own the architecture and design of IoT Edge and Embedded software solutions, ensuring scalability and security. - Drive technical design reviews and establish engineering best practices for IoT deployments. - Translate business and product requirements into robust technical solutions, focusing on system architecture. - Lead proof-of-concepts, technology evaluations, and make architectural decisions to guide projects. - Mentor engineers on software design patterns, coding standards, and system architecture principles. - Design and develop high-performance applications for Linux-based embedded platforms using languages like Go, C/C++, Rust, and Python. - Implement communication frameworks and integrate industrial protocols such as MQTT, Sparkplug B, and JSON-based messaging. - Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using CircleCI, driving the automation of build, test, deployment, and release processes. Overview - The Technical Lead - IoT Embedded Applications position is a crucial role within our consulting sector, focusing on the design and development of next-generation IoT platforms. - Based in Bangalore or Hyderabad, this role requires a seasoned professional with 8-10 years of experience in embedded and edge software solutions. - The candidate will be responsible for driving software architecture, system design, and providing technical leadership. - This involves a deep involvement in technical design discussions and the ability to define scalable architectures and influence cross-functional stakeholders. - A strong background in industrial connectivity, edge computing, and Linux-based embedded systems is essential for this position. - The role demands a combination of hands-on development expertise and the ability to mentor and lead engineering teams. - The successful candidate will guide the technical direction of projects, ensuring that software solutions are robust, scalable, and meet the evolving needs of the industry. Requirements - 8-10 years of experience in designing and developing embedded and edge software solutions. - Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Go, C/C++, Rust, and Python. - Experience with Linux Embedded Systems, ARM and AMD/x86 Architectures, and system-level debugging. - Proficiency in messaging and communication protocols like MQTT, Sparkplug B, and JSON-based frameworks. - Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, build and release automation, and source control tools. - Strong software architecture and system design capabilities, with the ability to lead and mentor engineering teams. - Experience with IoT and Edge Computing Platforms, and cloud integration with AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.
