As a Salesforce Lead / Architect with 4 to 5 years of experience in Education Cloud, your role involves serving as the strategic anchor between an educational institution's business goals and technical implementation. You will be responsible for designing a secure, scalable, and manageable architecture that connects the Student Information System (SIS), Learning Management System (LMS), and Salesforce CRM to drive student success, enrollment, and advancement. Key Responsibilities: - Architecture Strategy: Define the "north-star" architecture and governance framework for scalability, security, and long-term maintainability. - Data Modeling: Design data schema to ensure 360-degree constituent views, utilizing Account Model for K-12 Architecture Kit or person accounts. - Security & Privacy: Define user access levels, encryption policies, and GDPR compliance protocols to secure sensitive student/donor data. - Technical Debt Management: Prevent over-customization and manage technical debt by following Salesforce Well-Architected Frameworks. - Data Management: Import/export data while maintaining integrity using validation rules. - Security: Configure sharing rules and Organization-Wide Defaults (OWD) for data security. - Automation: Design processes to reduce manual tasks and implement Salesforce configuration changes. - Integration: Install and configure 3rd party integrations to enhance system functionality. - Education Cloud Specifics: Design personalized constituent journeys, integrate SIS/LMS systems, and implement relationship management tools. - System Integration & Performance: Develop integration architecture strategies and optimize performance for fast scalability. - Technical Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders, lead teams, and manage release readiness. Qualifications Required: - Must have Salesforce Architect Certifications.
