CAD Designer

Key Responsibilities: - Develop accurate and detailed 2D drawings and 3D models of components, assemblies, and systems as per engineering specifications and project requirements - Prepare production-ready engineering drawings including general arrangement drawings, detail drawings, assembly drawings, and fabrication drawings with correct tolerances and GD&T annotations - Revise and update existing CAD drawings based on design changes, engineering change notices, and feedback from project and design teams - Coordinate with design engineers, project managers, and production teams to ensure drawings accurately reflect design intent and manufacturing requirements - Perform basic design checks and drawing reviews to identify errors, inconsistencies, and missing information before submission - Maintain organized and up-to-date CAD drawing libraries, revision histories, and document control records - Convert hand sketches, scanned drawings, or verbal instructions into accurate CAD models and production drawings - Support BOM preparation, parts list generation, and material specification documentation as required - Ensure all drawings comply with applicable drafting standards such as ISO, ASME, or IS as per project requirements - Assist senior engineers with design calculations, layout planning, and technical documentation as needed
