QA Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks and test suites for web, mobile, and API testing - Write clean, reusable, and well-documented automation scripts using tools such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or Playwright - Develop and execute API test cases using tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or Karate Framework - Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools - Collaborate with developers, product managers, and manual QA engineers to define test strategies, test plans, and acceptance criteria - Perform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing across web and mobile applications - Identify, log, and track defects using bug tracking tools such as Jira and follow up for timely resolution - Analyze test results, generate detailed test reports, and communicate findings clearly to the development and product teams - Review and contribute to test case design for both manual and automated testing coverage - Continuously evaluate and improve existing automation frameworks for scalability, maintainability, and coverage - Stay updated with latest QA tools, automation trends, and best practices to drive testing innovation
