Java Architect

As an experienced Java Architect, you will be responsible for designing and leading the development of scalable, high-performance enterprise applications. Your expertise in Java technologies, microservices architecture, and modern cloud-based solutions will be crucial for the following key responsibilities: - Define and design end-to-end application architecture - Lead development of microservices-based systems using Java (Spring Boot) - Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions - Drive application modernization initiatives - Ensure system performance, scalability, security, and reliability - Provide technical leadership and mentoring to development teams - Conduct architecture reviews and design governance - Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD and deployment strategies - Evaluate and recommend new tools, frameworks, and technologies In order to excel in this role, you are required to have the following skills: - Strong handson experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices - Experience in building RESTful APIs and distributed systems - Strong knowledge of design patterns and system design principles - Experience with relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) - Understanding of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra optional exposure) - Knowledge of event-driven architecture (Kafka / RabbitMQ) - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices - Strong problem-solving and communication skills Preferred skills for this position include experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP), knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, containerization, experience with API Gateway and integration patterns, and understanding of security standards (OAuth2, JWT, SSL, etc.). Your background should ideally consist of: - 10-15+ years of IT experience - Minimum 3+ years in an architecture/design role Education requirements include a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field. Additionally, it would be nice to have experience in large-scale enterprise applications, domain experience in Banking / BFSI / E-commerce, and exposure to high-availability and high-volume systems.
