About the role
We are looking for a passionate and talented Software Development Engineer (SDE) Intern with a strong interest in product development to join our dynamic team. As an intern, you will play a key role in building new features and improving the performance, reliability, and scalability of our ed-tech platform.This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced startup environment, working alongside experienced engineers, designers, and product managers. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain scalable web applications and backend APIs. Enhance and build custom compilers and contribute to the evolution of our internal compiler tools. Improve and extend core systems such as the proctoring platform and AI-driven functionalities. Design and implement new features and product enhancements across the tech stack. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code , following best practices and coding standards. Participate in code reviews , identify bugs, and help with debugging and performance optimization. Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver seamless user experiences. Requirements: Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology , or a related technical field. Proficiency in either of the following tech stacks: Frontend: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, and Redux Backend: Python with Django, or Golang Familiarity with Git and version control systems. Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment. Preferred Qualifications: Previous internship experience or personal projects using React or Django. Strong foundation in Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA). Familiarity with AI-powered coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code). Experience working with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, PyTest, Go test).
