As a Manual Test Engineer with 2.5 to 7 years of experience in testing enterprise applications, preferably in the Trade Finance domain, your role will involve validating complex trade transactions, ensuring functional correctness, performing integration testing, and supporting regression/UAT activities across multiple environments. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze business requirements, BRDs, user stories, and functional specifications. - Prepare detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test data. - Execute functional, regression, integration, smoke, and UAT testing. - Validate Trade Finance workflows and transactions. - Perform API testing using tools such as Postman. - Validate request/response payloads, headers, authentication, and business rules. - Log, track, and retest defects using defect management tools. - Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams. - Participate in sprint planning, requirement walkthroughs, and QA reviews. - Prepare test execution reports and status updates. - Support SIT, UAT, and production validation activities. Qualifications Required: - Testing Skills: - SDLC/STLC - Functional Testing - Regression Testing - Integration Testing - Smoke/Sanity Testing - Defect Lifecycle - Test Case Design Techniques - API Testing: - Postman - HTTP methods - Status codes - Headers - Authentication mechanisms - Cookies/session handling - Database Skills: - Basic to intermediate SQL knowledge. - Trade Finance Domain Knowledge: - Understanding of trade finance workflows and banking/trade finance processes. Additionally, you should have exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology, experience with test management/defect tools like Jira, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good communication and stakeholder coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.
