QA Testing

As a Manual Test Engineer with 2.5 to 7 years of experience in testing enterprise applications, preferably in the Trade Finance domain, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Analyze business requirements, BRDs, user stories, and functional specifications. - Prepare detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test data. - Execute functional, regression, integration, smoke, and UAT testing. - Validate Trade Finance workflows and transactions. - Perform API testing using tools like Postman. - Validate request/response payloads, headers, authentication, and business rules. - Log, track, and retest defects using defect management tools. - Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams. - Participate in sprint planning, requirement walkthroughs, and QA reviews. - Prepare test execution reports and status updates. - Support SIT, UAT, and production validation activities. Your required skills for this role include: - Strong understanding of SDLC/STLC, Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, Smoke/Sanity Testing, Defect Lifecycle, and Test Case Design Techniques. - Experience in API testing using tools like Postman, HTTP methods, Status codes, Headers, Authentication mechanisms, and Cookies/session handling. - Basic to intermediate SQL knowledge. - Knowledge of Trade Finance Domain, including concepts like Letter of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantee (BG), Import/Export Finance, Bills Collection, Trade Loans, SWIFT messages, UCP 600 concepts, and Incoterms. Preferred Skills: - Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology. - Experience with test management/defect tools like Jira. Soft Skills: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Good communication and stakeholder coordination. - Attention to detail. - Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.
