Mobile senior QA (Bengaluru)

Seeking a strong and experienced senior mobile test automation developer and mobile manual tester with proven background in building and delivering productive test automation infrastructure and frameworks driving mobile testing of systems and logic to ensure quality releases and products. The successful candidate must have a foundation in testing mobile applications software and developing automation solutions for Android and/or iOS. The successful candidate will work in testing and debugging native applications for mobile devices. This position will be responsible for testing mobile applications and contributing to the teams existing automated testing framework in terms of enhancing the framework in terms of designing and developing automated test cases and in terms of converting existing manual test cases to automated test cases. This position is expected to bring industry best practices of source control, code review, automated testing (unit and regression) to the team. Lead a team of test engineers (automation and manual) and ability to assign tasks and manage their deliveries. Test native mobile applications that make heavy use of networking code, both manually and via automation. This role is a hybrid between a traditional software QA role and an automation engineer. The bulk and the emphasis of the work is expected to be in automation, while manual testing work should be on an as needed basis only Understand the requirements, design and build manual and automated test scenarios to thoroughly test mobile apps features and logic Adopt various testing methodologies like exploratory, regression, acceptance, validation, boundary and sanity testing to ensure features are usable, reliable and work as designed and specified Design and implement test scripts and automated UI tests Design and implement canaries or other equivalent automated product monitoring structures Responsible for testing all functionalities and features of our mobile applications on handheld dev .
