Job Overview The Senior Software Engineer I is responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining software applications that support digital learning products and content delivery. The role provides technical expertise, contributes to solution design, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality learning technology solutions. Roles and responsibility Design, develop, and maintain applications supporting learning content and platforms. Translate business requirements into scalable and efficient technical solutions. Build and integrate APIs, databases, LMS platforms, and third-party systems. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices. Troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize application performance. Collaborate with product, content, and engineering teams to deliver project objectives. Support architecture discussions and recommend technical improvements. Ensure software quality through testing, security, and performance validation. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing initiatives. Drive continuous improvement through innovation, automation, and process optimization. Educational Qualification Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. Experience 1.5 to 2 years of experience in software development and application engineering. Experience working in Agile development environments.
