Job Description Guidewire Claims Tester Location: Greater Noida, Hyderabad, Pune & Mumbai Years of Experience: 4-8 Years We at Coforge are hiring an experience Guidewire Claims Tester with 4-8 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Guidewire Claims Center, ensuring the quality and reliability of our billing and claims processes. The candidate will be responsible for validating insurance platform functionality, integrations, APIs, backend systems, and end-to-end workflows. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of the P&C Insurance domain, Guidewire applications, API testing, database validation, and test automation practices solutions. Job Responsibilities: Functional Testing Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing for: Guidewire ClaimCenter Validate business workflows including: Claims lifecycle Policy creation and renewals FNOL (First Notice of Loss) Underwriting workflows Payments and reserves Create and execute: Test plans Test cases Test scripts Test data Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Owners to understand requirements. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies. API Testing Responsibilities Perform REST/SOAP API testing using: Postman Swagger SoapUI Validate: Request/response payloads Authentication Error handling Response codes Data integrity Test Guidewire integrations with: Billing systems Document management systems Third-party vendor APIs Create automated API test suites. Backend / Database Testing (Nice to Have) Perform backend validation using SQL queries. Validate: Data mapping Data transformation ETL processes Stored procedures Database integration Verify Guidewire transactions and policy/claim data in databases. Conduct end-to-end validation between UI, APIs, and backend systems. Mandatory Skills: Working experience with: Guidewire ClaimCenter Understanding of: Guidewire Configured Business Rules PCF Pages Gosu (preferred) Experience testing Guidewire Insurance Suite Integration. Functional Testing Regression Testing Integration Testing User Acceptance Testing Defect Monitoring API Testing Techniques and Methodologies RESTful API WEB APIS Postman XML Preferred Skills: T-SQL MS SQL Version(2012,2016) PostgreSQL Version( 13,14) Database validation RECONCILIATION ETL Testing Webdriver Java Standard Edition TestNG Framework RestAssured CI/CT - Jenkins Jira HP ALM Knowledge on CICD integrations Azure Devops Qualifications: Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 4 years of QA testing experience. 4 years of Guidewire ClaimCenter. Experience in API and backend testing. Knowledge of Agile methodology. Guidewire Certification (preferred). Insurance domain experience (P&C Insurance) (preferred).
