Senior AI Engineer ((Selenium, Playwright-Automation)

Responsibilities Collaborate with Software Engineers to understand requirements and translate them into effective test strategies. Plan, analyse, write & execute automated test scripts for UI and API test automation. Validate Angular UI components, user flows, and integrations with backend services. Develop and maintain API functional tests using tools like Postman. Develop UI automation using Playwright, Selenium, or similar tools. Participate in code reviews from a testing/quality perspective. Perform manual exploratory testing where needed to uncover edge cases. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, integrate quality gates and automated tests. Troubleshoot and debug issues across the stack and assist in root-cause analysis. Identify gaps in testing and proactively improve automation and QA processes. Ensure performance, scalability, and security testing practices for services and UI. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field 8-10 years of testing experience in modern web-application environments Hands-on automation experience in frameworks and scripting, in Java with playwright Experience validating Angular front-end applications Strong fundamentals in test automation best practices Experience with API automation frameworks (REST Assured, Postman/Newman, Karate, NBomber, k6, Apache JMeter etc.) Experience with UI automation (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Zephyr, etc.) Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins or Azure DevOps) Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills .
