Senior Software Test Engineer (ETL Testing, Python, Pyspark, Azure Databricks) Job Type: Full-time YOULL BUILD TECH THAT EMPOWERS GLOBAL BUSINESSES Our Connect Technology teams are working on our new Connect platform, a unified, global, open data ecosystem powered by Microsoft Azure. Our clients around the world rely on Connect data and insights to innovate and grow. As a QA Engineer, youll be part of a team of smart, highly skilled technologists who are passionate about learning and supporting cuttingedge technologies such as Cloud/Bigdata Automation, Python, Pyspark, SQL, Hive, Databricks, Airflow, performance testing and other data engineering tools. These technologies are deployed using DevOps pipelines leveraging Azure, Kubernetes, Jenkins and Bitbucket/GitHub. Responsibilities Develop, troubleshoot, debug, and improve applications as well as build automation frameworks using Python/Pyspark, SQL/NOSQL. Build scalable automation frameworks and test suites across technologies. Develop generative AI automation solutions using ML frameworks. Create documents, test plans, procedures, and scripts, performing defined productlevel integration tests. Execute and debug automated test scripts using available technologies and tools. Perform mandatory manual testing for all service functionalities before automation. Collaborate with quality and development engineers to evolve and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines. Deploy application components using CI/CD pipelines. Build utilities for monitoring and automating repetitive functions. Work with Agile crossfunctional teams internal and external clients including Operations, Infrastructure, Tech Ops. Research and evaluate software products and development tools. Provide technical guidance and support code reviews, testing, and documentation. Qualifications 6-10 years of applicable software engineering experience. Strong fundamentals and experience in Cloud/Bigdata Automation Testing, Python, Pyspark, ML, SQL, Hive, Databricks, Airflow, UI and Service Testing, performance testing. Must have proficient Pyspark/Python experience to build scalable Cloudbased automation frameworks. Handson experience in test automation, building frameworks in Cloud, API microservice automation. Must know SQL; knowledge of relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL. Must have experience in cloud technologies, preferably Microsoft Azure. Must have experience validating UI and services. Optional: experience in AI/ML and validating using AI/ML frameworks. Optional: experience in Selenium, TestNG, Java, LoadRunner or JMeter. Optional: knowledge of DevOps tools GitHub, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Docker. Optional: experience in Retail Domain. Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices. Strong analytical, problemsolving skills and quick learning aptitude. Excellent English communication skills. Minimum B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
