Role Overview: - You will be responsible for coding in Java8, Spring, Microservices, WebFlux/Reactive Programming, Rest services, Kafka, PCF, Azure, Spring Cloud Config, and NoSQL technologies. - Your role will involve solving technical problems using cutting-edge technologies and best practices to ensure optimized performance. - Unit testing for each line of new code introduced using JUnit/Mockito will be part of your responsibilities. - You will engage in a peer code review process using GIT pull requests and Crucible (for SVN) to ensure code quality. - Proposing multiple solutions to a problem and demonstrating the advantages of one option over another will be expected. - It will be essential to ensure that all aspects of technical design are correctly incorporated and contribute to research and implementing POCs as required. - Collaboration with the onsite team in scrum ceremonies will also be a key aspect of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Hands-on experience in Java/J2EE programming, particularly on Java 8 features. - Utilizing frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Rest, Spring Cloud Config, and Webflux. - Working with Microservices architecture and development. - Practicing Test Driven Development. - Handling SQL on RDBMS such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL. - Exposure to NoSQL DB, preferably MongoDb or Cassandra. - Familiarity with ORM frameworks like Hibernate/iBatis, JDBC, or JPA. - Exposure to JMS Kafka, IBM MQ, or Active MQ is advantageous. - Proficiency in JUNIT and mocking frameworks like Mockito, EasyMock, or JMock. - Experience with cloud platforms like PCF, Azure. - Using code repository tools like SVN and GIT. - Exposure to build and deployment tools like Gradle, Maven, or Ant. - Experience in CI/CD pipelines such as JENKINS. - Utilizing different design patterns, especially GoF, J2EE, and Integration design patterns. - Exposure to performance testing using JMeter is beneficial. - Ensuring code meets development standards and is optimized for performance. - Managing teams and deliveries. - Providing technical design or approach for business problems. - Leading the team towards the right solution with expected quality and timelines. - Experience with Agile practices. - Collaboration skills to coordinate with US-based onsite team and client team. - Strong team player with coordination skills.
