About the role
Role Overview We are looking for a highly skilled Shopify Developer who specializes in advanced customization, API development, and performance optimization. This role is for developers who can build scalable eCommerce systems, not just manage themessomeone who understands Shopifys modern architecture (CLI, APIs, Headless) and can significantly improve site speed, Core Web Vitals, and conversion performance. Key Responsibilities Build and customize Shopify stores, themes, and apps from scratchImplement advanced Shopify customizations using Liquid, JavaScript, and modern frameworksDevelop and manage API integrations with third-party systems:Payment Gateway: RazorpayShipping: DHLCRM: Microsoft Dynamics CRMWork extensively with Shopify CLI, Storefront API, Admin API, and WebhooksOptimize site speed and Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP) across storefrontsImprove page load performance, rendering efficiency, and UX responsivenessImplement best practices for CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization)Collaborate with SEO/PPC teams to build performance-driven landing pagesTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical and performance bottlenecksCore Skill Requirements (Must-Have) Strong expertise in Shopify customization (Liquid, JS, theme architecture)Proven experience in API development & third-party integrationsHands-on experience with Shopify CLI and latest platform updatesStrong understanding of Core Web Vitals & site speed optimization techniquesLazy loading, code splitting, asset optimization, CDN usage, etc.Experience with D2C / Indian eCommerce ecosystemAbility to build custom solutions (not just app-based implementations)Good understanding of CRO, SEO fundamentals, and performance metricsStrong debugging and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills (client-facing experience preferred)Preferred / Good to Have Experience with Headless Commerce (Hydrogen / React storefronts)Exposure to WordPress (for integrated ecosystems)Familiarity with AI tools for development & automationShopify certifications (nice to have)What Were Looking For Developers who can optimize performance at scale, not just build featuresEngineers who can architect integrations & solve real business problemsCandidates with an AI-first mindset and adaptability to new techWhat Youll Get Work on high-performance eCommerce platformsExposure to international clients & complex integrationsOpportunity to work in an AI-driven development environmentFast growth, ownership, and real technical challengesPay: 50,000.00 - 90,000.00 per month Benefits: Commuter assistanceFlexible schedulePaid sick timeProvident FundApplication Question(s): What is your expected CTC What is your notice period Are you available for F2F Interview at Gurgaon Location What is your current CTC or Inhand Salary Experience: WordPress: 4 years (Required)Shopify: 6 years (Required)Work Location: In person Role Overview We are looking for a highly skilled Shopify Developer who specializes in advanced customization, API development, and performance optimization.
