About the role
As a Credit Risk Analytics and Reporting professional at Northern Trust in Bangalore, India, you will have the opportunity to work with a globally recognized financial institution that has been in continuous operation since 1889. Your role will involve owning the development and maintenance of CECL, CCAR, MRM SAS Viya platform, performing data analysis, and presenting recommendations to senior leadership. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with SOX defined controls and working on code changes based on requirements. Roles and Responsibilities: - Own the development and maintenance of CECL, CCAR, MRM SAS Viya platform by defining change requirements, development, testing, and production migration - Own the CECL and CCAR model execution, including identification and quantification of overlays and adjustments, and presentation to senior stakeholders - Perform data analysis, sensitivity analysis, and variance analysis across different reports/adjustments and present recommendations to senior leadership - Own all control documentation, ensuring compliance with SOX defined controls - Make code changes based on requirements, testing, and work with stakeholders to get sign off and production migration - Lead application migration or adhoc testing projects impacting upstream data used for CECL and CCAR process Knowledge / Experience Required: - 5+ years of experience in risk management, compliance, consulting, or financial reporting with working experience on credit risk management - 5+ years of technical experience across SAS Viya, Python, or related tools - Understanding of CECL, CCAR, or similar regulation, having worked on model executions, adjustments, and reporting is an advantage - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Strong analytical and quantitative skills, critical thinking, investigative problem-solving skills Northern Trust is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities.
