Job Title: QA Automation Testing Intern Company: Novetum Location: Hyderabad, Telangana (In office) Job Type: Internship, Full-time, Paid Duration: 6 months Full Job Description Novetum designs and deploys AI systems that operate within real business workflows. As a QA Automation Testing Intern, you'll help ensure these systems ship reliably and hold up in production. This is a hands-on role: you'll build and maintain our automated test suite with Playwright, contribute directly to shipping reliable software, and work closely with developers with real mentorship along the way. Responsibilities: - Design, write, and maintain automated end-to-end tests using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript) - Reduce flakiness and expand test coverage across critical user flows - Perform manual exploratory testing - Write clear, reproducible bug reports - Collaborate with developers on test case design - Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions) - Help improve QA processes and documentation - Report testing status and quality metrics to the team Required Qualifications: - Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent self-taught experience - Understanding of JavaScript or TypeScript fundamentals - Familiarity with HTML, CSS, DOM, and browser dev tools - Basic understanding of testing concepts - Strong attention to detail and good communication skills Preferred Qualifications: - Hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium - Familiarity with Git - Exposure to CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) - Understanding of REST APIs and tools like Postman Compensation: Paid internship (stipend based on interview performance) Benefits: Mentorship, resume-ready experience, potential full-time offer Compensation: 10,000.00 - 15,000.00 per month Benefits: - Paid sick time Work Location: In person .
